CTYHOCN is an acronym that was or is? used by Hilton Hotels for each of its hotels. The first three letters are the airport designation for the city/area where the hotel is located. A Chicago downtown hotel's "CTY" would be "CHI". The next two letters stand for what the name of the hotel is. Chicago Hilton would be "CH". The last two letters would be "HH" for a Hilton owned Hotel. So, the whole CTYHOCN for the Chicago Hilton would be CHICHHH. The Palmer House Hilton, also located in downtown Chicago, would be CHIPHHH. Janet Lanning, previous installer for Hilton Hotels.
