What does jarsey mean?

Jarsey
An immense, dense, tangled, maze of durable, vines, wound around boulders, bushes, tree roots, tree trunks, in to the ground and around itself, presenting a massive snarl that is difficult to penetrate, traverse, escape from and where one can become lost and confused inside of and forget about the vastness outside it’s grasp quite easily. "During each trip to Maine, I visited Knights camp. It was never easy to find. There is no way to overstate how thick and confusing the jarsey is, or the astonishment provoked, every time, by stepping from the dense forest into the site." Michael Fink else author of "The Stranger in the Woods."
