Object Between Sensor and Background
SICK, a global sensor manufacturer, uses the term ObSB to define a sensing and output mode of some if its distance measuring sensors. In this mode, any target passing between the sensor and the accepted background is detected, even if the light from the sensor is completely reflected away or absorbed.
