Good, OK, Acceptable; suitable; applicable; correct; "check". Widely used in Japan and Japanese-produced written materials, with a meaning similar to the American check-mark (✔). Known as "maru" (circle) in Japanese, the symbol is best reproduced on a PC by the Unicode symbol 25EF (Large Circle), although a capital letter "O" can be used. Other usable Unicode symbols are 3007 (Ideographic Number Zero), 20DD (Combining Enclosing Circle), or 25CB (White Circle).
