Dice Roll Modifier

(and/or Dice Roll Modification). Used in tabletop roleplaying games (for example: Dungeons and Dragons) as numeric modifiers applied to a dice roll (normally added or subtracted) based on the situation of play. Example an expert marksman tries to hit a target through heavy fog. The dice are rolled as the chance to hit the target, and the character receives a bonus DRM for being an expert marksman and a penalty DRM for the target being obscured by the fog.
