I've been taking apart, putting together, fixing, breaking, reading about, writing about, and generally being interested in computers and electronics since I was about four years old. Obviously, there are LOTS of acronyms in that area of study. I also spent four years in the Army (doing computer/electronics work) for a Military Intelligence (MI) unit and they have TONS of abbreviations and acronyms as well. I'm sort of a walking, talking geek dictionary. I'm also extremely fluent in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JAVA, etc. I used to be a web designer before I became disabled. I would like to be a volunteer editor for www.abbreviations.com because it sounds like a lot of fun and I have plenty of spare time!!
