Leadership Command College

Leadership Command College or LCC is the acronym you may see after an individuals first and last name, followed by a comma to indicate he/she is a graduate from a Leadership Command College that is recognized by governmental institutions specifically related to police chiefs or high administrative positions within the public sector community. For example, Texas sends their Lieutenants and above to Leadership Command Training such as the Bill Blackwood Institute in Huntsville, TX for training that is equivalent to and does transfer to accredited graduate school hours. The LCC or Leadership Command College is prestigious in the public sector and is generally made in comparison to academia at the FBI training facility for Chiefs of Police in Quantico, VA. Most higher ranking officials have been sent to FBI training prior to or just after accepting a Chief of Police position at their prospective police department.
