Nicolas Salmeron y Alonso
Spanish statesman, born Alhama lo Seco, 1838. Studied law, and became a Democratic journalist; a deputy to the Cortes in 1871, and became President thereof during the Republic of ’73. He wrote a prologue to the work of Giner on Philosophy and Arts, ’78, and his own works were issued in 1881.
