What does Graeae mean?

Graeae
In Greek mythology the Graeae (Ancient Greek: Γραῖαι; ; English translation: "old women", alternatively spelled Graiai and Graiae) were three sisters who had gray hair from their birth and shared one eye and one tooth among them.
