Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, //(listen) (born 9 December 1962), is a Nigerian lawyer and politician. He is the former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs as he resigned on 11 May 2022 on the direction of President Muhammadu Buhari to contest at presidential primaries on the platform of the All Progressives Congress. He also served as Governor of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria from May 29, 2007 to May 29, 2015.
