Garmin Ltd. is the Swiss parent company of a group of companies founded in 1989 by Gary Burrell and Min Kao. On June 27, 2010, Garmin became the ultimate parent holding company of the Garmin group of companies. As of May 2014, Garmin has sold over 126 million GPS devices.
