- KH is often used in reference to Master Koot Humi, sometimes spelled Kuthumi, one of the Teachers of the Ancient Wisdom and a high-ranking member of the Spiritual Hierarchy overseeing human affairs and destiny. Along with Master Moria and Master Djwahl Kul, he is responsible for gifting humanity with the teachings that laid the foundations of Theosophy, as presented in the writings of Helena Blavatsky and Alice Bailey. Lord Koot Humi is a Lord of the Second Ray, or Ray of Love and Wisdom. He is known for having authored some of the "precipitated" letters, a.k.a. the Mahatma Letters, still preserved in the British Museum. By "precipitated" is meant that these letters appeared out of thin air, and were not sent or delivered as regular mail usually is. This phenomenon remains unexplained to this day, which is the reason why they are safely kept under Museum conditions and protection. Regarding matters of the Soul and Spirit, as well as human interaction and involvement with the Divine Realms.
