This city & it’s metropolitan area are the most populous in the Midwest and the third most populous in the country. The CoC has only* about 0.3-0.4 million more residents than the fourth most populous city; Houston. Meanwhile, the CoC has 2.2 mill less than LA and 5.6 mill less than NYC. The CoC Metropolitan Statistical Area is home to around nine-and-a-half million residents.
