Definition
What does ABPAM mean?
- Abuse By a Politician Awareness Month(n)
- Celebrated annually in October, Abuse by a Politician Awareness Month or ABPAM raises awareness of the need for harsher legal consequences for politicians who abuse their spouses, partners, associates, acquaintances, and others. ABPAM was founded after Renowned Global Activist and Equality Advocate became the first survivor of at least three previous persons who filed for a restraining order against mayoral candidate Melvin G. Slack to be granted a restraining order by a judge against Slack after Slack put her in a chokehold, harrassed, stalked, and threatened her, but Slack was allowed to remain in the mayoral race. Abuse by a Politician Awareness Month is necessary to ensure abusive politicians are held to the same standard of accountability as non-politicians treatment in the legal/criminal justice system for crimes of abuse.
