Well, it doesn’t look like you’re struggling to get views but it is likely these are more from casual observers….Try not to think of it in terms of a social media setting. Although this site is interactive, people are drawn to what appeals to them and unfortunately, that interest may not be reciprocal. For what it's worth, l suggest you experiment with some different poetic forms or styles –if for no other reason than to say that you tried it.

so what if they may think this sappy but this type of idealism is my groove.
I'll have to read your others as my curiosity has been aroused.

Sure thing, when something catches my eye I like to let the writer know they’ve produced something of merit and value.

I’ve yet to even get a vote in the contests but, like a boxer, I keep coming back for more. It is interesting to learn about your exploits and l am fascinated that you have this creative side to you too. A good boxer is balanced in offense and defense and I feel that in writing a good poem, there must be an equal blend of the right elements as well.

Fare well in your hand-to-hand endeavors!

I’m sure that there is a short list of parties who are aware of the specific scene or situation the poet is depicting and though it is difficult to identify with, or get a handle on exactly what is being presented as a neutral reader, nevertheless -like any art you may not ‘get,’ you still know that there is something there- you know it’s art....this is definitely poetry---good poetry.

Breezing by again ..wanted to let you know that I voted for this back when it was entered in July of last year. I still see something in it. A message of hope and promise always warms my soul.

Are you really an amateur boxer or just like to spar for the exercise..?

The fortunes of a few mean less for the rest.
Seems you are hitting on power and social struggles which are emblematic of humans since civilization began.
Quite concise and on-point Ludy.

indeed and those death cries (no matter by whom) are as unfortunate as the reprehensibleness of meaningless conflict.
I would have commented regardless but it is encouraging that the site is now offering rewards for increased interaction....hopefully bring the community a little closer.
good day Susan!
