- United Nations Youth Federation of Sri Lanka. UNYF was a Student Volunteer Group joined together in 1990 to collaborate in a central place in Colombo (Sri Lanka) to setup new branches of United Nations Clubs (UNC) and United Nations Youth Associations (UNYA) in both Government and Private Sector Schools, with the support of the Sri Lanka United Nations Information Center (UNIC/UNDP). The Founder Members were Vijitha Ivor Fernando, Charitha Kumari Abeysinghe, Ravi Paul Kannangara, Abdul Afeel Abdul Kaiyoom, Madhuranga Perera, Leslie Fernando (Colombo UNA), Ranjit De Silva (Colombo UNA), Daya Perera (Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to UN), and Nelum Wickremasinghe (Colombo UNA).
