  (lit. Shooting Clubs' Weapons Register)
  
  Formed in 1987 by the permission of the Danish Secretary of Justice, this private, autonomous unit tries to keeps an eye on every legal civilian weapon in Denmark used in shooting clubs, - PROVIDED that SKV send an EXACT copy to the Police's Weapons register.
  
  There are as of 2019 six classifications of SKV authorisations.
  If the Shooting Club feels they can trust you, one can buy a pack of .22LR caliber ammunition and receives some shooting- and safetyinstructions. This lasts for about four sessions. After that one has to apply for a "Repute Approval" by the Police. It's a backgroundcheck, - and more intensive, I assume, the higher SKV clearance you need.
  These are the six levels. There a sub regulations on some, one should be aware of then applying. Be aware that this ONLY aplies the SPECIFIC shooting club(s) one is/are a member of:
  
  SKV1: "Open a Shooting Club"
  SKV2: "Permit to buy and own a member's weapon"
  SKV3: "Access to the Shooting Clubs
  SKV4: "If the Shooting Club wants to buy another weapon"
  SKV5: "Withdrawal of Weapons Permit"
  SKV6: "Permit to be a Member of a Shooting Club"
  Permission to use the Club's premisses, use of weapons and other members weapons.
  
  SKV6 was officially establish as part of the Government's "Anti-Gang Initiative", when a new weaponslegislation was adopted 1/1-2018, but many say that the shooting of a K-9 police officer 2 years prior had a larger say in this matter. Many Shooting Galleries wanted the SKV6 for years but a murder had to happen:
  December 6th 2016 a 26year old 2 year member stole a weapon and ammunition from the Shooting Club, he attended.
  When the Lane Commander found out the weapon, a .22LR Semi-Automatic pistol was missing, he called the young man to retrieve the pistol and then the Police.
  A few hours later the young man shot the the 43-year Police Officer point blank in the back of the head while he was loading his dog in the car, before the Police Officers partners or witnesses could react.
  The following day the Officer was pronounced braindead and died in the room with his family...
  
  So, - SKV6 was long over due. The death was the first killing of a police officer in more than 20 years... more »
